FCC certification introduction


The FCC is the full name of the Federal Communications Commission. Directly responsible to Congress, coordinating domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellite and cable, and authorizing and managing RF transmissions and equipment other than those used by the federal government.

According to the relevant provisions of the US Federal Communications Regulations (CFR Part 47), all electronic products entering the United States require electromagnetic compatibility certification (FCC certification). At present, the United States has become China's second largest trading partner for several consecutive years. The trade volume between China and the United States is increasing year by year, so exports to the United States should not be underestimated. The rigor of product technology standards and import regulations in the United States is the highest in the world. Understanding the US market access rules will help China's products further open up the US market.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) - Manages the import and use of radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio receiving and transmitting equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones, personal computers, and other products that may harm personal safety. These products, if they are intended to be exported to the United States, must be tested and approved by a government-authorized laboratory in accordance with FCC technical standards. Importers and customs agents are required to declare that each radio frequency device complies with the FCC standard, the FCC license.

FCCVERIFICATION self-verification
The manufacturer or importer ensures that its products are tested in an FCC-approved laboratory to ensure that the product meets the relevant technical standards and retains the test report. The FCC has the right to request the manufacturer to submit test data for the equipment sample or product.

FCC DOC Declaration of Conformity
The responsible party of the equipment (generally the manufacturer or importer) tests the product at the FCC's designated testing facility to ensure that the device complies with the relevant technical standards and retains the test report. The FCC has the right to request the responsible party to submit the sample or product of the device. Test data, after the product has passed the test to obtain the DOC and test report, the manufacturer can mark the FCC mark on the product.

FCC CERTIFICATION certification
The product needs to pass the laboratory test of the FCC Registration Audit (FCC Listing). After obtaining the test report, the technical information of the product is compiled, including: product detail photos, circuit diagrams, schematic block diagrams, user manuals, etc., together with the test report, sent to the FCC for approval. The issuing authority TCB reviews and approves. TCB will issue a certificate after confirming that all information is correct and authorize the applicant to use the FCC ID. For customers who apply for FCC certification for the first time, they must first apply to the FCC for a number GRANTEE CODE (company number). After the product has passed the test and certification, the FCCID is marked on the product.
