Introduction to CE certification of pressure equipment

Pressure equipment products (such as fire extinguishers, pressure gauges, valve parts, safety valves, air cabinets, tower tanks, pipelines, pipe fittings, steam equipment, etc.) that are sold to the EU from May 28, 2002. The PED was adopted on May 29, 1997, effective from November 29, 1999, and has a 30-month grace period before May 28, 2002, that is, the product can be selected for PED or national regulations ( However, the applicable original regulations of the countries can only be circulated in the country. From May 29, 2002, the original regulations of the countries will be abolished, and the PED becomes a mandatory regulation for European pressure equipment. Therefore, pressure equipment manufacturers should respond as early as possible, so as not to be rejected outside the European market.
