The “2014 School-enterprise Docking Project” sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office and the China Intellectual Property Training Center was launched in Chongqing. As the first batch of pilot cities in China, Chongqing will select about 1,000 college students to participate in the training of enterprise assistant patent engineers free of charge. Among them, about 30 outstanding students will get the opportunity to enter or work in a well-known domestic enterprise.
The “School-enterprise Docking Project” is a government-funded public welfare training project approved by the State Intellectual Property Office. The government, enterprises, and universities participate in the selection of college students in colleges and universities to receive specialized and systematic intellectual property training to cultivate a composite High-quality intellectual property talents. According to the arrangement, Chongqing will select about 1,000 undergraduate students in the third, fourth and second and third grades from Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Chongqing University of Technology. The event will adopt the "online + offline" approach, focusing on four themes of patent application writing, enterprise patent management, patent operation and patent information utilization, from large enterprises and intermediaries such as Huawei, ZTE, Tencent and Sany Heavy Industry. The institution’s senior intellectual property experts teach. During the online training period, students will pass the online course of 79.5 hours, and pass the exam to obtain the “First Class Certificate of Enterprise Intellectual Property Talent Level Certification” issued by China Intellectual Property Training Center. At the same time, according to the results of the distance learning stage, the training base will select 30 students for face-to-face training, and those who complete the 18-day face-to-face training and pass the examination will receive the “Secondary Certificate of Enterprise Intellectual Property Talent Level Certification”.
