What is the mechanical instruction?

On June 9, 2006, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union issued the latest version of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC in its official gazette. Compared with the previous Machinery Directive 98/37/EC, the new directive is in scope and basic health. Great changes have been made in terms of safety requirements, conformity assessment procedures, and market surveillance. According to the requirements of the new directive, the directive will come into effect 20 days after the date of publication, that is, June 29, 2006. In general, the new directive separates the similar content of the current directive into a chapter, the structure is clearer and the content is easier to understand, which helps manufacturers, certification bodies and member states to understand and apply the content of the instructions.

The previous Machinery Directive 98/37/EC was promulgated by the Official Journal of the European Union on July 23, 1998, replacing the 89/392/EEC promulgated in 1989 and the subsequently revised Directive 91/368/EEC, 93/44/ EEC, 93/63/EEC. Since January 1, 1995, the Machinery Directive has officially become a mandatory regulation in Europe, and all EU Member States must incorporate some of their basic provisions into the laws of their respective countries. The EU Machinery Directive is not aimed at technical details, but rather focuses on safety and health regulations related to mechanical design and construction. At present, the new EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC came into effect on December 29, 2009.

4, lifting equipment accessories lifting equipment accessories refers to the independent equipment installed between the lifting equipment and the equipment to be upgraded, the slings and their components belong to the lifting equipment accessories;

5, chain, rope, wire mesh chain, rope, wire mesh refers to the components mainly used for lifting installed on the lifting device or its accessories;

6. Removable mechanical transmission The detachable mechanical transmission refers to the transmission installed between the power source and the driven equipment. 7, semi-finished machinery semi-finished machinery refers to the equipment to be assembled into a complete machine, but the device itself can not achieve any function. The independent drive system is a semi-finished machine.

Depending on the type of machine and component, other instructions than mechanical instructions may still apply. Other instructions include EMC commands, low voltage commands, simple pressure vessel commands, pressure vessel commands, and the like.
